SPORTSMANSHIP SKILLS FUN TEAMWORK LEADERSHIP FITNESS DISCIPLINE CHARACTER
That's What You'll Learn In This Summer Camp!
Our goalis to provide children the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals or enhance their current skills in sports. Our camps are designed to be a safe, fun and educational for the participants. Physical conditioning is not the priority. The focus is teaching basic to intermediate fun-damentals in a positive constructive manner so that the children will develop a knowledge and fondness for the sport. Parents Beware of other football camps that immediately place participants in pads or conduct contact drills -- this is not safe for a child or good judgement by the camp(s). Proper conditioning, weather acclimation, and skills must be taught prior to using helmets, pads, or allowing contact / tackling drills. Most all leagues require a minimum of 10 hours of pre-conditioning prior to issue of equipment (ie. helmets and shoulder pads). Make the safe choice for your child. Choose the Carolina Copperheads!
The Football camps are an excellent head start to kids beginning their first year in football. For kids who have already been playing, the camps are an opportunity to hone and enhance skills for the upcoming season as well as make new friends and have a lot of fun!
Are You Ready For Some Summer Time Football & Cheerleading Fun !!!
The Carolina Copperheads Youth League have sponsored youth football and cheerleading camps in North Carolina for the last 10
years introducing young aspiring athletes to the great sport of football and cheerleading with a positive approach to teaching the game, skills, and fun-damentals. Our goal is to motivate through teaching! We do not focus on conditioning or physical practices. In our camps the kids learn, have fun, and play the game. They get to choose the positions they wish to play and get individual training on each and every position. They will also learn from the introductory level to experienced about Offense, Defense and Special Teams. If you child has never played football or cheered, they will leave this camp with a smile and a better knowledge of the sport then most kids who have been playing for years! Copperheads Football Camps help fund the Carolina Copperheads League & Youth Scholarship Fund.
