COPPERHEADS TACKLE
PROGRAM
"FAIR, FUN, AND BALANCED"
NEW AGE RANGE FOR 2010
10 THRU 13 YEAR OLDS*

Balance is the key, and the formula to our success.  Balance in coordination with our
SCORE Policy is why kids and parents enjoy being part of the Carolina Copperheads.

In our League every player starts... No bench warmers are allowed. That's how we do it!

All tackle and flag football teams are balanced to ensure fair, fun, and exciting play. We don't believe in stacking teams or A/B team systems. We believe in coaching and developing players into fine young athletes. Tackle play is competitive, but fair to all. Tackle teams practice twice a week.

Our Tackle teams are balanced by...
Player's age (ages 10-13)*
Player's experience
Player's weight (tackle program)

* 13 year olds may not weigh more then 130 lbs
See player / weight chart below.

We find this formula places all the participants on an even playing field. The most important aspect  of youth football is that the players get the chance to play and enjoy the game. Skills, fundamentals, and execution are the focus of the Copperhead Division.

With a balanced approach game play is fun and exciting. All games are close, fair, fun, and very exciting!
